Charlie plays keyboard for this band which practices at the Janesville Senior Center. He and his wife, Wendi, both sing in the band. They perform primarily for nursing homes and sheltered workshops (they are taking a two-month winter break this year).
Actually it’s a whole song. I found a demo CD from August 10, 2005 which (surprisingly) included the song “When I’m Away” that wasn’t released to the public until June 2007. Even more surprisingly, the vocal was fabulous! I proceeded to download the files, do a bit of doctoring, add the string track from 2007, then mix and master it, and voila! Have a listen and see how it strikes you.
